Welcome, to the Dividend Eclipse blog. I'm a relatively* new investor and will be writing to show my progression as a dividend investor. Being an dividend investor I completely love the idea of money making money.

About me:
Well I am 27 years old and from Canada. As a result, this blog will have more Canadian content. I started investing in February 2014 so fairly recent and still learning. My goal is to see a steady increase in dividends each month and ultimately to create a passive income to complement my regular income.

This blog however, concentrated on dividend investing I will also attempt to post monthly updates on my whole portfolio. As of June 2017. My portfolio consists in 4 sections:

1. Dividend portfolio which is held in a non-registered account 
2. Dividend and Index portfolios held in TFSA's account
3. RRSP account for my American stocks so I don't get dinged on fees (+ mutual fund)
4. Cash HISA account
